Police Chase Ends in North Bexar

A dramatic end to a police chase that began in Fair Oaks Ranch, and stretched all the way in to North Bexar County.

“The vehicle actually pulled over and then took off again” James Keith with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office told KTSA News, adding “A pursuit followed along I-10 toward San Antonio.”

That chase began as police in Fair Oaks Ranch were investigating a home invasion that ended in a stabbing. The man inside of the home who was stabbed is said to be fighting for his life.

Keith said deputies joined the chase once it crossed in to Northwest Bexar County.

“Our deputies and Fair Oaks Ranch Police were able to get the vehicle to stop at I-10 and 1604 after it had crashed out” Keith said.

From there, the two people inside of that car were quickly arrested.

“A passenger inside of the vehicle tried to run, but we ere able to take him in to custody in addition to the driver” Keith said
