Police Kill Man Holding Woman Against Her Will

San Antonio Police shoot and kill a man who was holding a woman against her will.

“She reported that she was being held against her will for at least several days” in a phone call to her mother, from inside the Rainbow Drive apartment on the northeast side, Chief William McManus told reporters Thursday afternoon.

“The mother called us,” he said. “We arrived on the scene, officers went to the apartment door, heard her screaming inside.”

That’s when they kicked the door in.

“The suspect that was in there holding the female against her will, turned on the officer with a rifle, and the officer shot,” McManus said.

Chief McManus said the man is dead. The female victim was taken to a hospital with head trauma.

Officers found drug paraphernalia inside that inside that apartment.
