Police Searching for “Other Driver” in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Police are asking for your help as they search for the driver who ran a motorcycle off a Northside highway, killing the rider.

Officer Douglas Greene told KTSA News the accident occurred around 3:40 this morning on Northbound 281 at Hildebrand and that section of the highway was shut down for about 3 hours as police gathered evidence.

“Based on the roadway evidence, it appears that a vehicle may have cut off the motorcycle, causing him to lose control,” said Greene.

No witnesses have come forward with information on the vehicle and the search continues for the driver.

“When that individual is located, they can face criminal charges of failing to stop and render aid,” said Greene.

He’s asking anyone with information on the accident to contact the San Antonio Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit.
