More Possible S.A. Zika Cases

New numbers from Metro Health show a total of 22 potential Zika cases are now being looked at in the San Antonio area.

The number of confirmed cases of the illness remains at three–all contracted by people while visiting areas outside of the United States where the Zika Virus has been prevalent.

One possible case had previously come back negative.

The experts continue to urge anyone who has traveled to an area in which Zika is active showing signs of the illness–such as fever, rash, joint pain, or red eyes–to see a doctor immediately.
