Rapper murdered on Loop 410 in San Antonio

A San Antonio rapper was shot and killed on Loop 410 early Saturday morning.

San Antonio police say 25-year-old Christopher Polk — also known as OG Ape Life — left the Ice Lounge on the Northwest side of the city along Loop 410.

Polk and a passenger were driving eastbound on 410 near Callaghan Road at around 2:30 a.m.

Police say a silver SUV pulled up alongside their car and started shooting at the driver’s side door of the car.

A second black sedan pulled up in front of Polk’s car, stopped, and and then also shot at the car.

Polk was struck multiple times.  The passenger was able to bring the car to a stop on the shoulder of the highway.

Polk died at the scene.  The passenger was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Police are still investigating.
