Remember to Share the Road

The City of San Antonio is reminding motorists to share the streets with bikers and pedestrians.

Doug Melnick says they are using National Bike Month as a time to spread the word about the Safe Passing Ordinance.

It requires drivers to give people walking, riding bikes or waiting for a bus at least three feet of safe space.

He says you’ll be seeing and hearing a lot more about the ordinance throughout the summer.
