Remembering Murdered Judson HS Student

Her death stunned a community and this weekend, they honor her legacy.

Emily Hurst was weeks away from her high school graduation when she was killed by her ex boyfriend in a murder suicide.

Steve Linscomb at Judson ISD says Emily was hard working and was always willing to help those in need.

That’s why the Legacy 1 Project will collect food for the Children’s Hunger Fund on Saturday. You can bring your donations to Judson High School in Converse between 9 and noon.

They’re also looking for volunteers to help box up the items before they are sent to those in crisis.
