Cruz Endorses Trump

It’s official. Texas Senator Ted Cruz has thrown his support behind Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump in the Race for the White House.

Cruz Endorses Trump

Among those who said it could happen as soon as Friday is Iowa Talk Show Host Steve Deace, who used several Twitter posts to try to make the case Cruz would make a mistake with such a move.

Deace supported Cruz during the Presidential Primaries, and is known to be a friend of the Senator’s.

There are reports Cruz recently met with Republican Vice-Presidential Nominee Mike Pence. Trump also recently hired some key Cruz allies to play leading roles in his Campaign–including Kellyanne Conway and Jason Miller.

Cruz of course created a firestorm at the Republican National Convention when he told the Delegates in Cleveland to “vote your conscience”–stopping short in the midst of a push for an endorsement for Trump.
