Rush Hour Wreck Snarls Traffic

One person is dead–another hurt in a crash that snarled Tuesday Morning rush hour traffic in North Bexar County.

“We had a driver who was attempting to pull out on to Highway 281 from the Trinity Oaks subdivision–when his truck was t-boned by another truck heading northbound on 281” said James Keith with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, describing the crash at 6 AM for KTSA News.

“Unfortunately, the man in the truck that was hit died from his injuries” Keith said.

Traffic was backed up through the morning commute.

“The other driver suffered non-life threatening injuries. We’re very fortunate he will be ok” Keith said, adding “Now we have to try to figure out why this accident happened.”
