Over 3,000 refugees have arrived in the city of Dermstadt, Germany in the last year.
So how can San Antonio be an example of how to deal with their issue?
Mayor Jochen Partsch says it’s San Antonio’s cultural diversity that he admires.
Partsch talked exclusively with KTSA about the ongoing issues his city is having in helping immigrants integrate to a new culture.
“We can learn a lot from San Antonio as an arrival city.”
The mayor says they want to help the immigrants learn how to speak German, build houses and find a career.
