Next month voters will decide between current Councilman Roberto Trevino and Michael Montano for the City Council District 1 seat.
Montano said he’s proud of the grassroots campaign he and his volunteers are running, and believes he can offer people the representation they’re seeking at City Hall.
“What they’re interested in is public safety, infrastructure and a greater focus on the neighborhoods and projects that improve quality of life,” Montano said.
KTSA reached out to Councilman Trevino, who did not return our calls. An incumbent who was initially appointed to Council in 2014 to replace the outgoing Diego Bernal, Trevino’s campaign website says some of his focuses are economic growth, transportation and community involvement.
