S.A. to Mark Tim Duncan Day

It’ll be “Tim Duncan Day” in San Antonio on Thursday.

Mayor Ivy Taylor officially declare July 21st as “Tim Duncan Day” in San Antonio, a chance to celebrate Duncan’s career and all he means to this city.

“Tim may not be comfortable with all the attention, but I do think he deserves it,” Mayor Ivy Taylor said, in a statement. “Besides being one of the greatest players of all time, he’s also an outstanding role model. He taught us how to work hard, win and remain humble. He truly fits the definition of champion, and what better way to honor our most decorated champion than by declaring July 21 as Tim Duncan Day? It will allow fans everywhere to show him just how much he means to us, to our City and to the sports world.”

And how do you do that? Simple…wear your Spurs #21 jersey or Spurs colors on Thursday and tag all your photos on social media with #TimDuncanDay.
