SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Affordability and quality of life are helping to keep San Antonio’s home sales sizzling.

Single-family home sales were strong in May.

The San Antonio Board of Realtors is reporting that homebuyers closed on more than 36-hundred homes.  That’s an increase of ten-percent than the same month last year.

Also attracting more families and businesses, low mortgage rates.

The median price of an existing home in San Antonio is now 238-thousand-dollars, up three-percent from last May.  SABOR says inventory is low and that is helping to drive prices up.
