San Antonio man gets 45 years in prison for child pornography

A San Antonio man will be spending the next 45 years of his life in a federal prison for producing child pornography.

Federal prosecutors say the sentence came down Thursday afternoon.

Nicholas Gonzalez-Malven, 31, pleaded guilty to two counts of producing child pornography last June.

According to court records, Gonzalez took photos of a child on two separate occasions in 2016 that depicted sexually explicit conduct.  Those photos were discovered from a phone seized in a separate investigation.
