SAPD Officer Hurt in Crash

A San Antonio Police Officer was patrolling I-10 near Wurzbach this morning and spotted another driver having car issues. The officer pulled over to help and before he could get out of his cruiser, he was rear ended by another driver.

Officer Doug Green says the Officer was brought to the hospital but he’s going to be okay.

The driver of the car that hit him had some minor injuries but was not brought the the hospital.

Officer Green says no charges are going to be filed against the driver that struck the policeman.
