School Nutrition Convention in S.A.

A lot of planning goes into the foods your child eats at school. A lot of the ideas come from the annual Conference of the School Nutrition Association.

It’s taking place this week in San Antonio and more than 6,000 experts are attending.

Jean Ronnei from the School Nutrition Association says school lunches have come a long way in recent years.

Schools are removing lunches with a lot of sugar or sodium and replacing them with healthier options.

“It’s good for your programs, we get a chance to introduce our kids to new and exciting tastes.”

The conference wraps up today.
