Scott Shooting Findings Sent to D.A.

It’s now in the hands of the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.

The San Antonio Police Department says it has forwarded it’s findings on the shooting death on Antroine Scott last week. he was shot and killed by an officer–who said he feared for his safety–who moved in to arrest Scott, who was wanted by police.

Scott was found to be unarmed after the shooting. SAPD says he turned quickly toward the officer with what turned out to be a cell phone in his hand.

the DA’S office will review the findings of the investigation.

A separate SAPD Internal Affairs investigation in to the shooting also continues.
