Assistant Chief Deputy Dale Bennett says Hishmawi hasn’t been in contact with her family of friends which is not normal when a 16 year old disappears.

He adds that during the investigation, they leaned that the girl was physically abused by someone she knows but he didn’t elaborate.

If you have seen her or know where she is, contact the Sheriff’s Office on the FBI.
