They’ve got their work cut out for them.
President Obama and Vice President Biden will address the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night as they work to unify a very divided Democratic party.
Brandon Rottinghaus at the University of Houston says the Party has to turn to it’s veteran leadership if they want to get on the same page.
“They have the opportunity here to be able to unify the party in a way that Bernie Sanders can’t and Elizabeth Warren can’t.”
Rottinghaus says Obama and Biden have first hand experience in working with Hillary Clinton and will likely spend a lot of their stage time focusing on the successes she’s had as First Lady, Senator and Secretary of State.
