Severe Weather Threat Saturday

All eyes will again be on the skies with the San Antonio area under the threat of possible severe weather to begin the weekend.

The National Weather Service said a cold front could allow scattered showers and storms to develop Saturday.

Large hail and potentially damaging winds are the main threat expected with any storms that are touched off Saturday Afternoon and Evening.

A few spots could also potentially see four to five inches of rain, leading to possible flooding, especially in low-lying areas.

The severe weather threat should diminish by ;ate Saturday evening and overnight in to Sunday Morning.
