More signs of things to come at the gas pump?
New numbers from AAA Texas show the Statewide average price per gallon of regular unleaded has fallen by five-cents over the last week–led by especially deep declines in price in Amarillo, Texarkana, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Texas average now sits at $1.95–with the San Antonio average at $1.89 following a five-cent drop in the Alamo City.
If you’re getting an early start on that Thanksgiving road trip, you’ll find the lowest average price per gallon in Amarillo at $1.83. San Antonio comes in with the second-lowest average in the Lone Star State at $1.89.
Despite an eight-cent drop over the last week, you’ll still find the highest average price in Dallas, El Paso is one-cent behind.
