“We are in a war against radical Islamic terrorism,” Congressman Kevin Brady said.
He said the terror attack last week in Brussels is just another warning sign that is can happen here.
“To keep our community safe, we have to do three things,” he said. “Fully fund a national defense, launch an aggressive strategy to defeat radical Islam, and continue closing loopholes to make sure foreign terrorists aren’t traveling to the United States.”
He said the House has already passed a bill closing loopholes allowing international travel by terrorists and foreign fighters, but more needs to be done.
“International border security standards have to be put in place and countries that don’t cooperate with us, well, they can do without America’s foreign aid,” Brady said.
