Someone Needs a Time-Out

Parenting is tough, tiring, funny, brave and rewarding.

It’s the best thing you’ll ever do in this life.

This guy’s not parenting. He’s having a temper tantrum because shopping with his kid is hard.

You say she’s five? Shouldn’t she be accompanied by an adult?

I’m glad someone called him out, and he should be glad that’s all that happened.

So far.

I’m no expert on raising kids, but there’s a dignity to properly correcting bad behavior. You know you’re doing it right when your kids grow up, and can look back on what you did, and (now) understand why you did it.

If we apply that test, Mr. Shopping Cart doesn’t pass.
