Spurs: Parker’s Quadriceps Surgery a Success

San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker has had surgery for the ruptured left quadriceps he suffered during Wednesday Night’s win over the Houston Rockets.

The team describes the surgery as a success.

The injury suffered in the fourth quarter of the Game Two win in the second round of the NBA Playoffs ended Parker’s season.

The team said Spurs team doctor David Schmidt performed the surgery. A timeline for Parker’s return to the Spurs will be determined at a later date.
