St. Mary’s Creates MLK Scholarships

St. Mary’s University is partnering with the city’s MLK Commission to create a scholarship for someone who shares Dr. King’s passion for community.

City Councilman Alan Warrick talked to us about the scholarship. He says it’s designed for non traditional students like a single mom or someone just finishing up military service.

It could make a big dent in tuition too with 36,000 dollars going to the student they select.
