It’s time to start solving the problems.
That’s the message from Speaker Joe Straus.
“Our new President, the Republican majorities in both the House and Senate, and in our legislature, work together to begin solving problems,” he said.
Because: “We won’t have anybody to blame anymore,” he said.
It’s a major opportunity.
“This election was the public expressing frustration and, in some cases, anger,” he said. “That is very dangerous situation for our democracy; So, we got to get the politics to the side as much as possible and begin solving problems that the public is yearning for.”
