Surveillance Camera Registration Coming to New Braunfels

The New Braunfels Police Department is setting up a new program to help them solve crimes.

If you’re a home or business owner with a surveillance camera set up outside your building, they want to hear from you.

The Department’s David Ferguson tells us they are starting up a registry of surveillance camera owners so when a crime is committed nearby, they will know where the cameras are.

Ferguson says signing up for the registry doesn’t give Officers permission to come and look at it’s contents anytime they want. He says they still need to ask first.

So if you want to help out, head to NBPDtexas dot org to register and learn more.
