TREY’s Take: Did CNN Threaten The Trump Meme Creator?

So while most of us were enjoying time off to celebrate liberty, CNN was busy freaking out over a meme President Trump re-tweeted showing him in a mock Wrestlemania take down of an opponent with the CNN logo superimposed on his face.

CNN devoted countless hours to the meme and how, “Trump is going to get people killed. He’s going to get people killed!!!”

Apparently, CNN believes that because someone saw Trump tackle the CNN logo some wacko will kill a CNN employee?

Now CNN has proudly announced that they have tracked down the actual name of the alleged creator of the Trump meme. Some are saying he might be a 15 year-old boy.

CNN’s KFile senior editor, Andrew Kaczynski issued this statement on the CNN website:

“CNN is not publishing “HanA**holeSolo’s” name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same.”
“CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.”
Wow. So if you do something CNN doesn’t agree with they will track you down and threaten to release your private info if you don’t;
1 – apologize
2 – promise to never do it again
3 – take down the “offending” posts
AND, CNN reserves the right to publish your identity if you don’t comply with their demands.
Uhm – What’s THAT called?
How do you like that threat to squash the First Amendment? And all on the Fourth of July!
