Another Texas campaign stop for Donald Trump this weekend with the Republican nominee headed to Houston.
Many reports have the race between Trump and Hillary Clinton real close and Brandon Rottinghaus at the University of Houston says that’s due to a couple of factors. The large number of undecided voters and the fact that Trump hasn’t rallied Republican voters here the way Clinton has with the Democrats.
Then there’s the matter of money.
“He’s gotta have a full bank account in order to compete. We’re gonna have 50 days between now and the election and he’s needs to be able to put some hay in the barn and make sure that there’s money for the long haul.”
Rottinghaus says Houston has a lot of Republicans who want to put the Clinton and Obama years behind them and Saturday’s visit will help him solidify their support.
