What’s Next for the Spurs?

Boris Diaw has been traded, David West followed Kevin Durant to Golden State…so is Tim Duncan’s retirement announcement coming next?

“I’m going to pull a Kawhi Leonard…AHHHHHHHHH,” ESPN San Antonio’s Jason Minnix joked.

And then, seriously, he said: “I think Tim Duncan is done, I think he will retire.”

Those words make Spurs fans…want to puke? Incredibly sad? Recoil? All of the above?

But, Minnix said, it seems to make sense.

“He probably feel comfortable that he can go now because his replacement is on the roster or will be Thursday when Pau Gasol officially signs with the San Antonio Spurs,” he said.

And don’t expect the Spurs to make any other major free agent splash.

“No, no the Spurs, at this point, their roster is more or less set,” he said.

And 21 might not be on it. We’ll see.
