The Fourth of July is now behind us–and all signs point to gas prices continuing to nudge down in the weeks ahead across the San Antonio area–where you’ll find a wide range of prices depending on where you are.
“15% of your stations are under $2–but also, 15% are above $2.50–so, there’s a wide spread happening right now” Gasbuddy dot-com’s Will Speer told KTSA News, adding the market appears to have settled a bit after the shock waves that were caused by the British voters decision to leave the European Union.
“People aren’t exactly excited about the future prospects of the economy–but, there really hasn’t been a decisive move on where we’re going with Brexit” Speer said.
Meanwhile, Speer said you shouldn’t expect to see any fast drops in price over the next couple of months–even as those pump prices nudge down.
“Because demand is so high–we won’t see big discounts until after the Labor Day Weekend” Speer said.
