Who Will Clinton Choose?

Who’s going to run with Hilary? That’s the big question as the Democratic National Convention approaches. Clinton is likely to name her VP pick in the next day or two but there’s a lot of speculation leading up to the announcement.

Dr. Allan Saxe at UT Arlington says the names that keep popping up at Tim Kaine from Virginia and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.

“Warren is a strong campaigner but having two women on the ticket…might seem too gimmicky for a lot of voters.”

Saxe says Clinton’s pick will be someone like Ohio’s Sherrod Brown, a very strong liberal from a state that packs a big punch in the election.

She could still go out on a limb and come up with a surprise VP candidate that nobody could have predicted.
