Williams Selected For CPS Energy Board

An Appointee to the CPS Energy Board of Trustees is getting high marks from the Mayor.

Terri Williams was selected by Trustees on Monday from what Mayor Nirenberg calls a “diverse pool of qualified individuals.”

Nirenberg credits her vision for the future of CPS and it’s role in a growing community.

Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff is also on board with the appointment saying Williams has a long track record of economic development and small business advocacy.

Williams currently serves as the Director of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center for UTSA’s Small Business Development Center.

The City Council is expected to consider the nomination at its March 1 meeting.
