San Antonio police continue searching for two children following an alleged carjacking early Tuesday morning on the city’s east side.

Sgt. Jesse Salame said the mother’s story has changed several times as officers try to piece together what happened. Detectives from multiple departments are working the case and checking out different addresses.

Sabrina Hueiitt, 19, said that she was in the 700 block of South W.W. White Road around 3 a.m. when her car was taken by two people with her two daughters inside. Salame identified the girls as 4-year-old Mailayiah Reane and 2-year-old Lena Reane.

The car was quickly located in the 3700 block of East Commerce in an apartment complex parking lot. There are two people in custody, but they have not been charged.

Hueiitt has not been charged or identified as a suspect. However, police are asking anything with information to call SAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 210-207-7660.

Salame said there was no evidence in the car located that Hueiitt was traveling with a 4 and 2-year-old.
