15-year-old dead after weekend shooting on Northwest Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are now investigating what has become a fatal shooting after the death of a 15-year-old boy.

Officers were called to a shooting at an apartment complex Saturday afternoon at around 12:40 p.m. Upon reaching the location on the Northwest Side, police found the teen victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.

KSAT-TV is reporting the boy died at the hospital, but the exact time is unknown. It is also being reported multiple juveniles ended up with access to gun, but further details about the shooting are up in the air.

Investigators have made no arrests, and it is unclear as to whether or not the shooting was intentional or accidental.
