SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A 16 year old was killed and two other young people were wounded in a shooting near a west side housing project.
Police say an argument between two groups of young men broke out on Saltillo Street at around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Somebody pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Three people were hit. One was grazed by a bullet and refused medical treatment, a second was brought to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The third, who was 16 years old, died at a nearby basketball court at Father Albert Benavides Park as he tried to run from the scene.
Police say the shooter took off in a silver Mitsubishi sedan.
The investigation continues.
