18 wheeler hit by a train in Cibolo

SAN ANTONOI (KTSA News) — The Cibolo Police Department is asking motorists to avoid the area near Country Lane and FM 78.

That’s the scene of a collision between an 18 wheeler and a train.

At around 6:30 A.M. Monday, the rig was high centered on the tracks and the driver couldn’t get it out of the way of the oncoming train.

There are no injuries but with the amount of debris and two large vehicles involved, it’s going to take some time to clear the scene.

A similar incident occurred at this same intersection back in February.
