SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An 18-year-old accused of shooting a woman in the face earlier this week is facing additional charges.

Police say Julio Caesar Rivera was arrested Wednesday after he attempted to carjack and shot a woman at the Alamo Quarry Market.

Rivera has been charged with two additional aggravated robbery charges after police say he robbed and attempted to carjack a woman and her 5-year-old daughter at gun point outside of a convenience store on October 19.

The San Antonio Police Robbery Task Force is reportedly instigating Rivera’s involvement in additional criminal investigations and may face more charges.
