2 bodies discovered in Guadalupe County oil tanker trailer

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after the bodies of two men were discovered in an abandoned oil tanker trailer.

Officials said they received a report that a Texas Department of Transportation employee discovered one of the bodies while working on Hwy 90 near County Road 482 on Monday around 3:45 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies discovered the second body when they began their investigation and were able to recover both from the tanker trailer with the assistance of the Seguin Fire Department, Schertz Fire Department and the Guadalupe County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Officials said they are continuing to investigate the discovery and the identification of the men is pending autopsy.
