2nd arrest made after kidnapping and robbery that left teen naked on the street
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are announcing the arrest of a second suspect in the kidnapping and robbery of a teen who was dumped out of his own car and left naked on the street.
Investigators say 22-year-old Martin Juan Antonio Gutierrez was apprehended on Monday before being booked into the Bexar County jail. He is now charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery, along with co-defendant Eloise Ana Marie Hernandez, 22.
KSAT reports Hernandez was arrested last month, and both are accused of pistol whipping the 19-year-old victim before putting him into the back seat of his Nissan Altima. Police say the two suspects robbed the victim of numerous items, including money, and eventually forced him to strip naked before dumping him on the street on the west side.
Police say the car was later found at an apartment complex where the suspects were seen leaving it via surveillance video.
The victim suffered a broken nose during the beating.
