4 Southwest ISD schools on lockout due to an “external threat”

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A potential external threat has forced four Southwest ISD Schools to go on lockout.
Bexar County Deputies and State Troopers are searching for a man who ran off during an attempted traffic stop.
Resnik Middle School and Southwest Legacy High School along with Spicewood Elementary and Bob Hope Elementary on lockout while they search for the man.
The district posted on their Facebook and Twitter feeds that the lockout means everyone has been brought inside and the perimeter doors are locked.
They assured parents the children are safe and there has been no impact on the daily operations of the campus.
A lockout means we lock the perimeter doors and bring everyone inside.
