60-year-old woman shot while riding a charter bus through San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A 60 year old woman is recovering from a gunshot wound to her head, after somebody opened fire on the bus she was riding in.

The El Lagunero charter bus was on it’s way to Dallas on IH-35 but as it rolled through San Antonio’s south side at 2:45 A.M Sunday, somebody shot at the bus.

The woman was struck in her head but her injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

The driver pulled over near Zarzamora and called for help.

At last check she was listed in serious condition at University Hospital. No other injuries were reported.

At this point there have been no arrests, no suspect descriptions and no motive as police continue the investigation.
