72 year old man shot while jogging on San Antonio’s South Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is trying to track down whoever shot a 72 year old man as he was jogging on a South Side trail.
The man was approached by a group of three or four men in their late teens or early 20’s Wednesday evening in the 6500 block of Padre Drive.
They demanded the man hand over his personal property but he only speaks Spanish so he didn’t understand their demands.
He tried putting up a fight but was shot in the upper thigh.
The men then took his car keys and his car, a dark green Ford SUV.
The victim was brought to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
