Flight bound for San Antonio diverted to El Paso after several passengers get sick

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A plane bound for San Antonio International Airport was diverted to El Paso Thursday.

Frontier Airlines is confirming that flight 2074 had to make an emergency landing after some fumes on the plane were making passengers sick.

When the plane landed, six people had to be treated for possible carbon monoxide poisoning but were not hospitalized.

Earlier reports from TV stations in El Paso indicate that the plane was late leaving Las Vegas in order to fix a fuel line.

The flight landed safely with more than 200 passengers getting food, seats on alternate flights and $200 in airline vouchers.
