A 3,000 pound bull creates chaos in New Hampshire

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — There’s seems to be a cowboy shortage in the Granite State.

That’s where an aggressive bull managed to escape from a farm and lead police on a 14-hour, 18-mile chase through three New Hampshire communities.

Police in Bristol say the bull proceeded to scare the living daylights out of people who weren’t expecting to encounter a 3,000 pound brute.  The animal charged at vehicles and an animal control officer. One local business owner called it “mayhem”.

Once it became apparent they weren’t going to corral the beast, the owner requested that police euthanize the animal as soon as they could do so safely.

The bull was shot and killed.

Police say it was a decision they didn’t want to have to make.

Several residents in the communities terrorized by the “Bristol Bull” say they were sad that the bull had to be shot but they are glad that nobody was hurt.
