The clerk handled himself well in a situation where his life was at risk and now he’s being punished for it. After a gun was pulled out of self-defense the robber immediately apologized after realizing the mistake he had made. If the clerk hadn’t been armed and taken reasonable actions to defend himself, people could have been seriously hurt.
