Airline passenger arrested after growling at flight crew

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — We’ve told you about several unruly airline passengers in the past few months. Some get into fights with other passengers or the airline crew….but this guy’s bark was worse than his bite.

It happened on an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City. A video taken by another passenger shows 61 year old Las Vegas resident Timothy Armstrong taking his mask off and growling at the crew.

And not just a subtle growl, he went full on Cujo on them.

He had been told to take his seat and after arguing with the pilot he sat down and began growling like a dog.

The man also yelled “God Bless America” and “Joe Biden” before police took him off the plane.

While a collar and leash or even a muzzle may have been appropriate, officers simply handcuffed him.

He’s been charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Whether or not he’s up to date on his distemper and rabies shots hasn’t been released.
