Albright Stumps for Clinton in S.A.

Another headline name campaigning for Hillary Clinton in San Antonio.

“I don’t think I have ever seen anybody that is better prepared to be President,” Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said of Hillary Clinton.

Albright was in San Antonio for a roundtable discussion on foreign policy at UTSA’s downtown campus.

Albright touted Clinton’s lengthy public service background and experience. And she stressed the importance of the latino vote.

“I hope very much that the Latino community participates fully and understands that, in fact, the future of this country depends on that contribution, feeling involved, and feeling that they have a say in their future,” Albright told reporters.

A few weeks ago, in New Hampshire, Albright said: “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other.”

She stands by that comment, but said “I wish I hadn’t said it in a voting context, I think I said it in the wrong place, but I do believe that women need to help each other.”
