All This Freedom Talk…

Your irony detector is about to explode.

At their joint rally in Philly this week, Kamala Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, said the following:

“Some of us are old enough to remember when it was Republicans who were talking about freedom. It turns out now what they meant was, the government should be free to invade your doctor’s office…in Minnesota, we respect our neighbors and the personal choices they make…mind your own damn business!”

Pot, meet kettle.

When you listen to hacks like Tim Walz, you would think abortion—ahem, “reproductive freedom”—is the only kind of freedom there is.

Why are they libertarian ONLY on this one thing?

The veep even plays the Beyonce song, “Freedom”, at some of her rallies.

Democrats like to list imaginary rights and freedoms, like the “freedom” to not be around guns or the “right” to sex changes, but when it comes to actual rights and defending any non-uterine freedom, it’s like their copy of the Constitution slipped under the IKEA sofa or something.

If you wanna talk freedom, or better yet, do something about it, and if you want me to believe that you’re not merely pandering to Planned Parenthood, why not robustly and exuberantly support a person’s freedom to make a living? Why are you using the IRS and tax code to punish lower-income people who work in the “gig economy”?

Why not full-throatedly support the right to access experimental drugs and treatments? Isn’t that also “making decisions about your body”?

True body autonomy would mean a lot more than abortions, wouldn’t it? Or nah?

“Mind your own damn business” is a helluva rallying cry coming from a Branch Covidian like Governor Walz.

He had people snitching each other out to the state for masking or gathering violations. He forced Minnesotans to pay college tuition for illegal immigrants. His transgender youth bill inserted the state between children and their parent(s).

When these Dems sing about freedom, how come they only remember one line of the song, and hum the rest?
