Animal Care Services seizes more than 50 animals from southside home

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Animal Care Services is in the process of seizing more than 50 animals from a southside home this morning.
Officials said an anonymous 311 call tipped investigators off to the situation.
The residence is home to multiple people, and officials said at least was known to ACS over a previous animal seizure a decade ago.
The cats and dogs will be given a veterinary examination and the results will be used to determine whether there will be criminal charges filed.
Names of the residents have not been released at this time.
